I started The Lifestyla because I love a good life – but not the kind that requires waking up at 5 a.m., drinking green juice, journaling or pretending everything is “effortless.” This is a space for living well realistically – travelling when possible, eating in a way that supports your body (and your sanity), taking care of your skin without a 12-step routine and dressing in a way that feels like you.
In short: lifestyle, minus the pressure.

What “Lifestyle” Means Here (Hint: It’s Not Perfection)
Lifestyle has become one of those words that means everything and nothing. For me, it’s not about aesthetic routines or rigid rules – it’s about how your daily choices add up over time.
Some days that looks like movement, nourishing food and a great outfit. Other days it’s rest, simple meals and re-wearing the same outfit because it still works. Both count.
The Lifestyla is about balance, intention and enjoying life without constantly trying to optimise it into exhaustion.
Travel: Not Escaping Life, Just Expanding It
Travel for me, isn’t about ticking destinations off a list or chasing the “perfect” photo. It’s about perspective. A change of place has a way of reminding you what actually matters and what doesn’t.
Here, I’ll share travel experiences that feel grounded and personal: how destinations made me feel, what slowed me down, what surprised me and what I’d actually do again (as opposed to what just looked good online).
No packing lists with 47 “essentials.” Just honest reflections.
I will also be sharing tips on how I’ve been able to travel on the “sniff of an oily rag”, what I did to have the money to travel and how I’ve managed to secure incredible deals that let me travel in luxury or unwind at high-end resorts.
Beauty & Wellness: Low Maintenance, High Return
I’m interested in beauty that supports real life – not beauty that becomes your life. Healthy skin, simple routines and wellness habits that don’t require a complete personality overhaul.
That includes:
- Taking care of skin from the inside out
- Nutrition that’s supportive, not restrictive
- Wellness habits that are sustainable long-term
If something feels overly complicated, I usually question whether it’s necessary. Most of the time, it isn’t.
Nutrition Without the Drama
Food is meant to nourish you, yes – but it’s also meant to be enjoyed. I’m not here to label foods as “good” or “bad,” or to pretend discipline is the only path to health.
I’ll be sharing thoughts on nutrition that focus on balance, consistency and listening to your body (which inconveniently, changes over time). No extremes. No guilt. No pretending cravings don’t exist.
Nutrition is so much more than just what we eat, there are many factors that contribute to ones health – environment, relationships, spiritual practice, self-love, nutrition, purpose and so on. Everyone has a unique blueprint and constitution, therefore there’s no “one size fits all” solution.
Personal Style as a Form of Self-Respect
Style isn’t about trends – it’s about knowing what works for you and showing up accordingly. Sometimes that’s polished. Sometimes it’s simple. Sometimes it’s repeating the same outfit formula because it just works.
Here, I’ll talk about styling as self-expression, confidence and practicality. Clothes should support your life, not complicate it.
Why This Space Is Personal (But Not Performative)
Everything I share here is shaped by personal experience – not expertise claimed for the sake of credibility, but lived moments, trial and error and changing perspectives.
This isn’t a highlight reel. It’s a place for thoughtful observations, honest opinions and lessons learned along the way.
